Cancellation policy
Gender Equity Advocates Workshops and Multi-Session Courses
Due to limited seating, cancellation must be at least one week before scheduled courses or workshops begin. Please contact us directly at info@genderequityinhiringproject.org regarding any cancellations.
Cancellations made 7 days or more in advance of the event date, will receive a 100% refund minus any administrative fees (typically 3-5%) for processing via our website. Cancellations made within 4 – 6 days will incur a 25% fee. Unfortunately, cancellations made within 72 hours are non-refundable. If you do not attend a session for which you have registered, you will not receive a refund, nor will you be eligible to transfer your registration.
Single Session Events
Cancellations for individual workshops and events must be made no less than 72 hours in advance. Fees are refundable if cancellation is prior to this 72 hour period, minus any administrative fees (typically 3-5%) for processing via our website. After that, all payments are non-refundable. If you do not attend a session for which you have registered, you will not receive a refund, nor will you be eligible to transfer your registration.
Pay It Forward
Registrants who are not able to use their event tickets may “Pay It Forward” and send another person to the workshop for which they have registered, based on the model of The Op Ed Project. If you choose to pay it forward, and also wish to register yourself for a later date, we will give you a credit of $25-50 towards a future program. Please be in touch prior to selecting this option. Unfortunately, we are not able to retroactively issue a credit.
