הֲגִינוּת / Equity / Hegyonut

We believe in treating people fairly. Treating each person differently depending on their unique, individual need, so that they can be successful, is rooted in that belief in fairness. We distinguish this from equality, treating each person the same regardless of need. While equality may be our ultimate goal, it is equity that will get us there.

שְׁקִיפוּת / Transparency / Shkifut

We embrace openness and honesty as modes of communication and working, and as ways of being. Trust is cultivated and built by sharing information, knowledge and challenges, both internally and externally. Transparency enables us to take risks and grow together.

שַׁיָּכוּת / Belonging / Shayechut

We accept and embrace every individual, empowering them to thrive and bring their full potential to both their own endeavors and our collective work. No one person is prioritized over another; our differences strengthen us and help us to learn. We are present as our authentic selves, and accept others’ authentic selves, creating the conditions for each person to belong.

מַעֲרֶכֶת יְחָסִים / Relationship / M’arechet Yachasim

We depend on others in connected relationship to make change, to reflect and help us grow, and to work in common purpose together, as change is not made alone. Being in relationship helps us to foster interdependence, elevating shared leadership over hierarchy so that we may distribute authority, and appreciate and incorporate multiple perspectives.

צְמִיחָה / Growth / Tzmicha

We are constantly learning, receptive to new ideas and opportunities, and listening to others. This commitment involves both external actions and internal reflection, encouraging a culture of introspective learning. We lead by example, demonstrating collaborative growth, refining our methods, and embracing challenges within our learning community.
