We believe in the power of network.
When two or more come together, we are stronger than when we work alone. When we form partnerships and coalitions, we develop the powerful relationships that enable us to leverage what we have learned to do the challenging work of making change. None of our work stands alone. We begin with connection and relationship.
Our Network
Our Gender Equity Advocates Network, now more than 200 strong, is made up of individuals who have participated in our Gender Equity Advocates workshops and seminars. They serve as ombudspeople in their workplaces and volunteer communities, noticing and interrupting bias and discrimination in hiring, employment and workplace culture. Our Network’s purpose is to mitigate the risks associated with advocacy and support the connections that facilitate courageous action against bias. We gather in person and virtually, in pairs and in large and small groups, fostering dialogue, learning, and relationship-building. We also design programming tailored to increase our skills and knowledge as we build our relationships over time.

Network Weaving
GEiHP believes in weaving healthy networks to leverage our collective capacity for change. We are inspired by the advocacy efforts of our colleagues in the field, and support them to be aware of the networks around them. Additionally, we empower them to explicitly tap into energy for change as they strive for equity within Jewish workplaces and communities. We also support our network members by listening, helping people identify their interests and challenges, and connecting people (in our network and beyond) strategically where there is potential for mutual benefit. We serve as a catalyst for self-organizing groups. GEiHP cultivates a network of mutual support, increasing individual and organizational capacity for change.
